From Board Member Jim Fleming

"I thought I would share my conversation with Vasyl (a graduate of 4G3 Discipleship Institute). Bombings have really escalated in Kyiv region. The bomb shelter Highlands Fellowship helped fund is coming to good use. I cannot imagine the mental and emotional impact they are going through. So happy we are able to come alongside these ministry warriors in prayer and resources as they minister to those in crisis while attempting to overcome evil.

On another note, Joel (from Pakistan; also a graduate of 4G3 Discipleship Institute) is still working on his security plan with the state department in Pakistan to ensure another attack does not occur on his church and members. I understand he is visiting the US in late May for a period of time out of safety precautions. We had great help from our Congress Reps and Senate Reps on the attack that resulted in Joel (US Citizen) being arrested. He shared three videos this week of the body of one of his Hosea Fellowship members being pulled from the river in Lahore after he had been murdered for religious practices. I am not going to forward because it is very difficult to watch. 

Let’s keep Vasyl and Joel in our prayers as they battle spiritual enemies of darkness while sharing the gospel message.  While we are immune to Christian persecution like this in the US, it is nevertheless very painful to see those we love and support go through this."
