Today, on World Kindness Day, we celebrate the kindness you have shown by supporting and praying for 4G3. Fatima is just one of many who have been impacted by your support.
At 34, Fatima was a practicing Muslim in Syria, praying and fasting regularly but uncertain if Allah heard her prayers. In a culture where women are often treated as second-class citizens, she feared that her husband's displeasure could condemn her to hell, regardless of her devotion.
When her husband, Mohamed, developed severe back pain, tests revealed he needed risky surgery for four prolapsed discs. Feeling helpless and unable to provide for their family, Mohamed faced a tough decision. His brother, Omar, introduced him to an American pastor named Andrew, who frequently visited Omar's pastry shop. “Pastor Andrew has a unique relationship with God,” Omar said, sharing how Andrew prayed for blessings on his business. Despite initial resistance, Mohamed and Fatima agreed to meet Andrew, who prayed for Mohamed's healing. In a miraculous turn, Mohamed's back pain was instantly relieved, confirmed later by doctors.
Fatima accepted Jesus that night, moved by the pastor's compassion. Invited to the 4G3 Middle East-North Africa conference in Lebanon, Fatima was terrified, having never slept alone before. However, on her first night, she experienced an overwhelming peace, feeling Jesus' presence in the room.
The conference helped her learn more about Jesus and connect with fellow believers facing persecution.
“The course 'Unshakeable' resonated with me,” she shared. “I realized I have a powerful story to tell: how God healed my husband. Now, I feel more confident in sharing my faith.” Fatima reflected on her transformation: “Before Jesus, my life was mundane. Now, the Holy Spirit guides me, and I’ve learned to love others like never before. Please pray for me and for my husband's salvation.”
