Amy is one of 35...

Have you heard the exciting news? We are launching a new Discipleship Institute in Egypt just for women!

The Discipleship Institute for women will provide a place for 35 women to connect, learn, share, and heal from generational bondage and trauma, while gaining deep experiential Biblical knowledge.

Women like Amy...

Amy, (not her real name) is an Iraqi girl who fled to Turkey because of her faith. In Iraq, she lived in a home on the ground floor flooded by water. Every time it rained, the water would rise in their apartment. So much so that she had to wear rain boots in her apartment to be able to get around. In the morning, when getting ready for work, she had to climb onto her bed, put on her pants, roll them up, and wear her boots again to be able to get out of her house. The walls were all mold, and the humidity and smell inside the house were unbearable.

Amy's father was verbally and physically abusive to Amy and her mother and decided he would not fix anything. Amy's older brother accepted Jesus as his personal Savior. He fled to Turkey for his life, knowing that he would be a target of ISIS. But Amy had seen the change in her brother; it was supernatural. She dreamt of fleeing too, at least to flee her home situation and live in freedom. Amy started attending the church where her brother attended before fleeing. As she lifted up her hands - imitating others during worship, she felt oil running down her arms and a Hand patting her on her head. She thought she imagined things. Then the person leading worship said, "There are a few here who have oil running down their arms. Would you come in front so we can pray for you?"

She knew she did not imagine it. She realized it was Jesus patting her on her head. That night, she accepted Jesus as her personal Savior. Amy knew how dangerous it was. She would have a price on her head if she did not flee. Six months later, she and her mother fled to Turkey to live with her brother. She is now attending an underground church.

Your financial support is needed to translate a culturally relevant disciple-making curriculum for women and cover the associated training costs. The women will meet for 70 hours over the span of 15 months. We are believing God to move mightily in the hearts and lives of these women and for a holy passion for His word and truth to be shared with many others in their communities.

Amy needs discipleship. She is one of the women who will be attending the women's discipleship institute. You can be part of the adventure too!
